Each day the participants began with morning exercise and breathing sessions. We provided them with various social, physical, mental, and creative activities at the center. In June we celebrated Father’s Day at Ipswich River Park in Reading. The participants had field trips each day as well as birthdays for each month. In July, we celebrated America’s Independence Day on the 4th. Excitement was evident on their faces as they participated in the activities. They had a guest lecture on Cardiovascular ds. And prevention by Dr. Kamlesh Shah. Cultural activities included Satyanarayana katha, bhajan, and group reading, which were enjoyed by all who participated. They have had the opportunity to express themselves and become socially connected to others.
