India’s 74th Republic Day Celebration!!

Republic Day is celebrated on January 26, every year to mark the day on which India's constitution came into effect in 1950. After this date, India became truly democratic and independent. Great men like Mahatma Gandhi and the many other freedom fighters who fought and gave their lives for the country's independence helped bring about the Constitution, which is the fundamental law of the land.

On January 26th, it was India’s 74th Republic Day. We began the celebration with a parade. Participants had a parade around the center, showing their pride and excitement about the day. They were all joyfully walking, with a flag leading and everyone else following, waving flags as they went. Then, they sang the national anthems of India and the United States of America. The celebration started with some touching and inspiring performances from our participants. They got the opportunity to give speeches, perform dances, and sing songs dedicated to all Freedom Fighters and "Javaans." It was great to be able to celebrate the day with everyone fully.
