This year Mother’s Day celebration was different. As we celebrate, honor, and appreciate that special person in our lives. We all went to Horn Pond for a picnic, and it was a great day to spend outside. Some of the participants sang songs, played antakshari, and shared some stories and thoughts about the mothers in their lives. Then for a snack and lunch, they had watermelon, Subway sandwiches, and ice cream. The woman at the center received gift from Evergreen ADHC- Tote bag and a mix of dry fruits and nuts packets. Overall, everyone enjoyed it, and it was a lovely day. They were also excited to have a picnic again in the future.
