May Happenings

Spring certainly put a smile on our faces and added spring to our step. The month of May brought some sunshine and with that the participants of Evergreen Adult Day Health Center headed outside for walks.

Our field trips to walk around Burlington Common and the library were relaxing. Trips to the Temple and going shopping are the most popular field trips at our center. In the garden we planted some flowers and painted some pots. Every morning starts off with some exercises, which seem to be the highlight of the day.

This month we also started a new knitting program. We are working on knitting 10 little winter hats to donate to a local children’s hospital!

Kudos for doing such honorable work

For Mother’s Day we celebrated with sweet poems honoring our Mothers. And what is a month at Evergreen without the monthly birthday celebration, which is always a happy occasion!

The month of May has came to an end with an awesome picnic where we played games, ate picnic basket lunch of sandwiches and just had a very wonderful time.

We are very excited to see what June as in store.

Thanks for reading,

The Evergreen ADHC Team.
